The AXIS Fireball 1070 is a top-of-the-line hydrofoil designed for professional riders seeking ultimate precision and high-speed stability. Utilizing ultra-high modulus carbon fiber construction and optimized aerodynamics, it delivers exceptional performance during high-speed surfing, making it ideal for downwind racing, wing surfing, and other high-intensity scenarios.
The core of the equipment is crafted from ultra-high modulus carbon fiber. With a 0°/90° balanced layup process, this material achieves 2.5 times the stiffness of aluminum while weighing only 60% of it. This extreme stiffness-to-weight ratio allows the hydrofoil to virtually disappear during high-speed gliding, precisely transmitting every control command from the rider. Simultaneously, its lightweight nature reduces energy consumption during pumping, enabling longer periods of flight on water.
The hydrofoil features an ultra-high aspect ratio of 13.07, combined with a new high lift-to-drag ratio airfoil profile, significantly reducing fluid drag during gliding. With a projected area of 877cm², it ensures strong lift while achieving the characteristics of "early takeoff and easy recovery" - it can easily lift off the ground even in light winds or small waves, and can quickly take off again after touching the water, completely eliminating the dependence on strong winds and waves.
