The SPITFIRE 1100 complete hydrofoil package is built for wing foilers who need dependable lift and stability but also want a setup capable of smooth freeride carving and continued progression.
Its 1423cm² carbon front wing provides more low-speed support than the smaller SPITFIRE models. The 1100mm span and 8.66 aspect ratio add useful glide while maintaining a progressive turning response.
In lighter wind, reaching takeoff speed and remaining on foil through wind lulls can be more important than maximum top speed.
The SPITFIRE 1100 provides additional surface area to support earlier takeoff for suitable riders. Once flying, its efficient glide helps preserve momentum when wind power becomes inconsistent.
Actual takeoff performance depends on rider weight, board size and shape, handheld-wing size, pumping technique and wind strength.
The SPITFIRE 1100 is not limited to low-speed cruising. Its elliptical outline allows the front wing to roll progressively through freeride turns.
The rider can establish a smooth carving angle and redirect the foil without the delayed, locked-in response associated with some extremely wide high-aspect wings.
Its larger size emphasizes stability and sustained glide, while the smaller SPITFIRE models provide faster rail-to-rail transitions.

The additional area can also benefit larger riders who require more low-speed support than the SPITFIRE 960 or 1030 provides.
