The FIREBALL 1160 complete package offers experienced Wing Foil riders a combination of usable low-speed lift and high-speed efficiency. Its high-lift foil section helps suitable riders take off without moving to an extremely large surface area. Once flying, the 13.52 aspect ratio reduces drag and preserves speed through wind lulls.
This makes the FIREBALL 1160 especially relevant to riders who want stronger light-wind range while retaining faster acceleration and more efficient freeride performance.

Light-wind performance depends on more than front-wing area. Rider technique, board release, handheld-wing size and pumping efficiency all influence takeoff.
The FIREBALL 1160 uses a high-camber, efficient foil section to create useful lift while maintaining low drag. This allows suitable riders to use less surface area than they might require from a conventional foil.
After takeoff, the wing carries speed efficiently and helps maintain flight when wind strength becomes inconsistent.
The 1160 is not limited to low-speed cruising. Its reduced drag supports faster freeride runs and efficient acceleration in powered conditions.
The pitch-stable profile creates a controlled feel as speed increases. Compared with the larger FIREBALL 1250 and 1350, its smaller span also makes directional changes more accessible.
It remains a very high-aspect foil and will not turn like a compact Surf or Carving wing.
