Product Description
The FIREBALL 1160 complete hydrofoil package is designed for experienced riders who want to cover distance efficiently while maintaining speed through changing swell energy.
Its 1160mm span, 996cm² surface area and 13.52 aspect ratio create a high-aspect platform with strong forward projection and low drag. The high-lift foil section helps the front wing continue carrying through weaker sections without requiring the surface area of a conventional large foil.
Compared with the FIREBALL 1250 and 1350, the 1160 has a smaller span and area. It therefore emphasizes higher-speed response and more manageable roll control while retaining the glide characteristics of the FIREBALL range.

The FIREBALL 1160 is intended to convert rider input and swell energy into forward travel rather than simply generating vertical lift.
Its efficient profile helps the foil accelerate onto moving bumps, cross softer water and maintain momentum between energy sources. The pitch-stable design also supports controlled acceleration as speed increases.
The 1160 is best suited to experienced riders who can generate takeoff speed and actively connect swell. It should not be positioned as a first-session beginner foil.
The high-aspect outline produces forward projection during each pumping cycle, helping the rider travel farther without excessive vertical movement.
The wing also carries speed efficiently once powered. Its reduced area allows suitable riders to use a smaller foil while retaining practical lift and low-speed recovery.
Actual performance depends on rider weight, board design, paddling technique, mast stiffness, rear-wing selection and water conditions.
